Six Ways You Can Make Money in 2022
What are some ways you can make money in 2022? With the rise of robots and artificial intelligence, many people worry about how they will earn an income in the future if machines take over their jobs. However, there are ways that you can make money even with these advancements in technology and automation, so don’t panic quite yet! Here are six ways you can make money in 2022.
Use an app
Apps are great time- and cost-savers, but it can take some research to find a good one. If you’re looking for an app that gets things done, you can’t go wrong with an organizational or task-management app like Trello or Asana. Some apps—like Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Square Cash—can even save you money by eliminating your need to carry cash.
Sell your phone number
Selling your phone number might sound like a crazy way to make some quick cash, but it can be done. You can sell your phone number on sites like Craigslist and eBay or to companies that resell cell numbers.
Deliver something
We’re living in a gig economy—if you don’t have an idea of what you want to do and how you’re going to make money, start delivering something to someone right now. It could be as simple as picking up groceries or dog-walking for an hour each day. In fact, even if your dream is just working at Google, try selling stuff on eBay first and see where it gets you.
Rent something
Have you heard of Airbnb? It’s a website that allows people to list and rent all sorts of properties around town. Whether it’s an apartment, a treehouse, or even just someone’s driveway, Airbnb connects these owners with renters who are looking for somewhere new to stay while they visit your city. If you can be trusted and keep your home clean enough for guests, you can easily make hundreds of dollars renting out one (or all) of your rooms.
Provide services on demand
Yes, millennials want a work-life balance, but they also want flexibility to make their own hours and tailor their schedule around personal commitments. It’s not that millennials are lazy; it’s that many of them (like all workers) just aren’t able to commit for eight hours a day. That doesn’t mean they can’t be productive—but it does mean you have to rethink how your business works and who you hire.
Repurpose things you already own
One of my favorite ways to make money is by repurposing things I already own—specifically, old books. If you’re an avid reader like me, you can turn your accumulated stacks of books into cash by selling them online or at a book sale. I’ve sold hundreds of books online and at local libraries and community events.
