Slow Horses Season 1 Episode No 6 Preview And Review

Slow Horses

Episode 6 Preview And Review

Episode 6 of Slow Horses begins with Cartwright and Lamb while the rest of the Slow Horses work to track down the Sons of Albion.

They have a gas station ping and are determined to find Hassan before it’s too late. They also find Lamb and Tea, courtesy of Roddy, who first leaves a tracker under the car.

  Why does Diana visit Hobden?

Meanwhile, Diana goes to meet Peter Judd, stating that she has met Hobden and demanding an explanation before boiling the tea. If not, then he will call the dogs and arrest him.

Finally, Diana calls his bluff when he’s outspoken. He wants her to use her far-right contacts to connect with the Sons of Albion. Peter decides to play his last card – the Frontline Club and Hobden have heard about his plan – and offers an alternative game – get rid of Robert Hobden.

Do slow horses catch up to the van?

Before this happens, all of our characters gather again in front of Peter Judd’s house. Luisa and Min follow a tip from a gas station in search of a van. Only, he runs out of gas because he’s thinking too much about having sex with Louise.

Louisa is understandably angry, but Min explains her actions. He had never been a seeker before and found a kinship with him.

Meanwhile, Curly continues to act erratically after killing his man at the end of the last episode. Hassan manages to convince Larry to help him, and assumes that Curly will kill Hassan after decapitating him to go out “in a blaze of glory”.

Ax in hand, Larry slithers toward Corley, who fires back. Both Hassan and Larry run in opposite directions, but it is Hassan who comes up short. He was left without a car and stuck in the middle of the forest. Eventually he was found and stopped at gunpoint.

  Does Sid survive?

Lamb and Cartwright drive together, but on the way the latter receives news that Sid has died in the hospital. River is pretty torn about it, but Jackson reminds her that death is just part of the job and she should get used to it.

The pair pass the stranded Louise and Min, finally picking them up when they hear from Roddy that the van is 5 miles back.

The First Lady arrives in London and arranges transport, moving the troops in a Sons of Albion van. Larry is captured, but when he comes around and grabs his back (where he was shot by Curly, of course), the soldiers open fire and take him out.

Why Do Slow Horses Protect Curls?

Curly holds Hassan at gunpoint and walks with him through the woods to some ruins. As the camera rolls, Curly prepares to kill Hassan after shooting him in the arm, but when Cartwright shows up, he’s distracted enough for Hassan to hit Curly with a rock. Finally, he was beaten.

Curly is still alive and the Slow Horses decide to rescue him from the oncoming helicopter. Given that Diana and her men just want to kill Curly and cover everything up, the Slow Horses protect the killer, decide that justice should be served and that he be brought to justice.

Is Sid still alive?

Behind that, the Slow Horses regroup and pat him on the back for a job well done. Lamb brings them down by pointing out how terrible they are at their jobs. Finally, the Lamb walks away. When they do, Min and Louise decide to drink together.

Roddy does some research on Sid and learns that he’s not actually in the system. It looks like he might still be alive, but whatever that is, he’s using his real name! So technically Lamb’s mention of him being dead is not a lie, but rather a fabrication of the truth.

As Lamb and Diana meet again outside, Robert Hobden, who decides to tie up loose ends, is hit by a truck outside.

With Alan Black’s name out of the press, Diana paid Hasan to keep his mouth shut, erase his student debt and donate to a comedy club. Lamb taunts that Diana was able to get away with it and come out on top, but as promised, gets the Standish File.
